The 5-Step O&G Procurement Workflow for WOFLY Products

Each procedure must generate corresponding official documents for archiving in project files. Missing any document will break the audit traceability chain. The entire workflow shall be managed based on deliverable documents rather than simple order sequences.

Step 1 — Specification capture

Before issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ), confirm all service-related technical parameters to support accurate model selection of WOFLY instrumentation fittings. Unclear parameters will force suppliers to make arbitrary assumptions, and the relevant compliance liabilities will ultimately be borne by the purchaser.

· Service medium and phase (sour gas, condensate, instrument air, sample fluid)

· Design pressure, design temperature and temperature/pressure derating points

· Sour service marking and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) concentration (if applicable)

· Tubing outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness (e.g. 1/2″ x 0.049″ 316L)

· End connection types (NPT thread, ISO 8434-1:2007 24° cone connection, flange class)

Step 2 — Vendor down-select

For projects specifying WOFLY branded instrumentation fittings, only WOFLY officially authorized distributors in China are qualified suppliers. It is mandatory to verify the valid official authorization letter. Counterfeit and inferior fittings are prevalent in the O&G supply chain; such unqualified products cannot resist long-term vibration and will cause severe safety hazards.

Step 3 — Quote review

Verify three core documents against the quotation. Although these items occupy only a small part of the comparison sheet, they determine the overall compliance of the entire O&G project.

1. Valid standard versions: All WOFLY O&G instrumentation fittings are manufactured in strict accordance with NACE MR0175:2021, API 598:2016 and ISO 8434-1:2007. Products complying with outdated standard versions are not accepted.

2. Mill Test Report (MTR): Each batch of WOFLY products is equipped with EN 10204:2004 Type 3.1 MTR. The heat code is permanently marked on fitting bodies and nuts to realize full lifecycle traceability.

3. Guaranteed lead time: The delivery schedule shall be confirmed in writing to match the overall project timeline. WOFLY maintains sufficient local stock and flexible production capacity to ensure on-time delivery.

Step 4 — Receipt verification

Complete strict inspection before warehousing and releasing goods. For fittings applied in critical services, conduct Positive Material Identification (PMI) sampling inspection by heat code. Confirm that the heat code stamped on physical products is fully consistent with the data recorded on WOFLY’s MTR. Each batch of products is attached with a signed and dated Certificate of Conformance (COC) issued by WOFLY.

Step 5 — Installation handover

Standardized installation is the final link of the procurement and quality control chain. WOFLY twin-ferrule compression fittings must be installed following the official torque specification: after hand-tightening, rotate the nut an additional 1-1/4 turns. Mixing WOFLY fittings with products from other brands is strictly prohibited, which will damage the sealing performance and void the product warranty.
